A detailed 3D art installation about alcoholdementia. This piece is based on personal experiences in my family and scientific research. Includes: branches, winebottles, rope, light and a live soundscape made with sounds of bottlecaps and beer foam. The soundscape is made with scientifically proven methods to sooth someone, while the image of neurons – brenches – blood and broken glass slightly disturb people.

In a small exhibition at Intro in Situ Maastricht, visitors could see a preview of my final artwork one month later. This small artwork exist of a photograph I have made and edited twice. The text is a scientific article about alcoholdementia. The earphones played a looped monologue I made of an interview I did with an ex-alcoholic.
